Salt Lake City, UT—Jack Charles Arnovick was called home to his Heavenly Father on May 18, 2022. He was surrounded by his family who loves him and will miss him dearly.
Jack was born in Murray, Utah to Steve and Nancee Arnovick on October 5, 2002. He lived in Draper, Utah his whole life and graduated from Corner Canyon High School with honors. Jack was an extremely bright student who became fluent in Mandarin Chinese, receiving the Seal of Biliteracy when he graduated. Jack also graduated from the Corner Canyon High School Seminary and served on the Seminary Council.
Jack was blessed with countless talents and mastered many of them during his life. He was a talented swimmer, an avid reader, and loved creating art. His strategic chess-player skills could rival any professional. Jack was athletic and loved all sports.
Jack was also very gifted in playing the piano. His music was beautiful and hearing Jack play was an epic experience. He loved listening to all genres of music and could play any of them.
In his short time on earth, Jack lived life to the fullest! He was always up to try something new and never worried about time. He lived life spontaneously and out on a limb, especially with his many friends. Jack had a dry sense of humor and quick wit that made everyone laugh. He was wise beyond his years as well.
Jack loved outdoor adventures, hiking in the mountains and watching sunsets. He especially loved hunting and fishing with his dad. Lake Powell with his close friends and other exploring travels were among his favorite things to do.
Relationships were very important to Jack. He was an amazing brother to his sister and brother-in-law and was very close to his parents. Jack was wonderful with his niece and three nephews who adore him and loved having fun with him. He had a great group of friends and was a friend to all. Everyone who knew Jack loved him!
Jack has a very strong testimony of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jack was so excited to serve a full-time mission for his church, which he now gets to do. He was able to also fulfill his desire to go through the temple before beginning his eternal mission.
Jack’s family would like to thank the many caregivers who attended to him, especially those at NeuroRestorative in Riverton.
Jack is survived by his father and mother, sister, Stephanie Baxter, brother-in-law, Kyle Baxter, nephew Noah, niece Claire, nephew Henry “Hanko,” nephew, Emmett, grandparents, Jack and Ilene Bradshaw and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Lois Arnovick.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 24 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Corner Canyon Stake Center, 13366 South 1300 East, Draper. Funeral services will be held at the same location Wednesday, May 25 at 11:00am, with a viewing prior to the funeral from 10:00-10:45am. Interment at the Highland City Cemetery.Service Information
