September 15, 1922 — December 3, 2021

ISILELI KAUMOELOTU FIEFIA
In Loving Memory of a devoted and beloved Husband, Father, Grand-father, Great-grandfather, Great-great-grandfather, Isileli Kaumoelotu Fiefia passed away peacefully at his home with the love of his life by his side on December 3, 2021.  He was born in ‘Uiha, Ha’apai, Tonga on September 15, 1922 to Filimone Malungahu (Fiefia He Me’alahi) and Mele Kakala Mafifakapotu ‘o Tatakamotonga (Lutui).  He was married to Mrs. which he referred to her as, Mele Ma’ata Wolfgramm on the 24th of December 1946.
His first love, besides his family, was music and missionary work.  He had a beautiful tenor voice and used his love for music to bless the lives of many.  While working in the Salt Lake Temple he was often called upon to sing the National Anthem in front of the Leaders of the church.  He would sing to his posterity each and every one of them, “You are My Sunshine”.  Which we all know that we are his sunshine and we hope that his legacy will live through us all.  Isileli had a wonderful sense of humor; he enjoyed a good laugh with everyone that he came in contact with.  He loved the challenge to seek for opportunities to grow, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  He served in the military and is a World War II vet.
He had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and had many callings.  He used his talents and worldly possessions to share with those that are less fortunate and those that are not members of the faith.  He enjoyed serving to the fullest capacity as possible and always seek for opportunities to serve others.  He and Ma’ata served 7 fulltime missionary services for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was a spiritual Giant and Fearless when it came to serving the Lord.
He is survived by his wife Ma’ata and children Mele Kakala Kaumoelotu Latu (RIL Hingano), Moses Kaumoelotu Fiefia (‘Alisi), Filimone Kaumoelotu Fiefia (Suliana), Heleine Kaumoelotu Faka’osiula (Viliami), Wilford Kaumoelotu Fiefia (RIL Hiva), Taniela Taulata Kaumoelotu Fiefia (Emma), Sione Vaea Kaumoelotu Fiefia (‘Auhangamea), Tevita TauTe’oli Fiefia (Melolini), Tevita Valeti Kaumoelotu Fiefia (Holly), Isileli Viu Kaumoelotu Fiefia, and Leila Kaumoelotu Faletau (Akeiti).  He has 60 grandchildren, 136 great grandchildren and 20 great great-grandchildren, which they are his sunshine in this life.  Proceded in death by his parents, 15 siblings and sons Wilford Hansen and Kotoni Kaumoelotu Fiefia.
