Iris Curtis Hunter, born on September 28, 1928, in Moroni, Utah, peacefully passed away of natural causes on April 24, 2025, in Ephraim. She was the cherished daughter of Lionel M. and Izelle Keele Curtis and grew up surrounded by the warmth of her family as one of six children in the close-knit community of Moroni.

Iris's life was marked by love, adventure, and a deep commitment to her family. On October 25, 1947, she married the love of her life, Quentin H. Hunter, in Standard, Utah. This union blossomed into a vibrant family, and Iris took great pride in her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her beloved children, Linda and Nancey, and son Quentin E. "Gene," along with seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

An avid lover of nature, Iris found great fulfillment in camping adventures with the Hunter clan and exploring the beauty of the world through travel. Her dedication to family and her adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

Iris Curtis Hunter's legacy of love, adventure, and family will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, whose lives she touched profoundly throughout her remarkable journey,

Mom spent the last two and half years of her life in Golden Skyline Assisted living. She loved the residents and staff. They took amazing care of our mother. We know mom looked forward to reuniting with loved ones. We will miss you, but we are happy for you.
