Irene L. Mumford

Irene L. Mumford born August 12th 1941 and passed away peacefully on April 19th 2017 after a long struggle with illness.  She was married for 59 years to Bill Mumford.  He was her best friend and soul mate and together they have 4 children Bill (Carrie) Deanna (Chris) and David Mumford.  She was preceded in death by both parents Arthur Groves Lipsey, Thelma Clements and daughter Vikki Mumford.  She is survived by her husband, three children, nine grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Our family will miss her fondness for Patsy Cline and animals.  She loved looking for a good bargain and shopping with her granddaughter. Camping and riding horseback through the mountains were her favorite hobbies but she also enjoyed archery and bowling in earlier years.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.  She is now reunited with her parents, daughter, and best friend/father-in-law James C. Mumford.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. April 25, 2017 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S Redwood Road.  A Viewing will be held from 6-8 P.M. Monday, April 24, 2017 and one hour prior to services at the mortuary.  The family asks that you leave condolences below.
