Inge Bork

July 28, 1935 — November 2, 2019

Inge E. Bork, age 84, passed away on November 2, 2019 at her home in Kearns, Utah. She was born on July 28, 1935 in Lupendorf, Germany and moved to America in 1963. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandma. She married Hellmut Bork.
She worked volunteering her time at the library at the LDS Genealogy Library for many many years. She also was a mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren in their younger days. She shared a love of flowers with the love of her life Hellmut. I always said if I ever fall in love, I wanted a true love like my grandparents have, although times weren’t always easy, they could always count on each other. I know that they are now together for all eternity.
She is survived by her daughters Sonja Bork and Monika Jones, many grandchildren, her youngest grandchild and caretaker Lacey Jumper, many great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, sister Silvia, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. It was hard not to love my grandma. There was such a strong woman in that body, both in mind and spirit. I know exactly where I got my strength from.
Inge is preceded in death by her beloved Hellmut, son Alfred Bork, siblings, parents, grandparents, and a grandchild.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123.
