Ina Loreen Foote Golding
March 20, 1937 — March 18, 2017
Ina Loreen Foote Golding was reunited with her sweetheart in heaven on March 18, 2017, two days before her 80th birthday. She was born March 20, 1937 in Huntington, Utah and spent most of her childhood in Castle Gate, Utah. While attending Carbon High School in Price, Utah, she met the love of her life, Paul Marlin Golding. They were married in the Manti LDS Temple on June 7th, 1956. In June of 2016 they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with friends and family.
Mom and Dad have been the ultimate example of love and respect. They raised their family on the farm, teaching children and grandchildren the value of hard work. Mom and Dad taught many people how to quilt. They hand made a quilt for almost all of their married children and grandchildren. Additionally, we all learned how to can fruit, vegetables and many other things from them. Baking bread and Applesauce cookies were family favorites. Mom taught many people, including numerous nephews and nieces, lifelong lessons that have had great impact. A countless number of people have been touched by her love. Altogether there are 66 descendants, including 24 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, who Mom dearly loved and influenced.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and son, Kirk.
She is survived by her children: Marsha (Michael) Peterson, Karl (Renae) Golding, LoReen (Rick) Casper, Wayne (Melanie) Golding, Christy (Dan) Hansen, and Travis (Jessica) Golding, her sisters Alice (Dale) Jewkes and Yvonne Jewkes.
A viewing will be held March 22, 2017, from 6:30-8:30 pm at the LDS Chapel at 2876 west 1390 North Provo, Utah. A viewing will also be held on March 23, 2017, from 9:30-10:45 at the chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 south Redwood Road, SLC at approximately 1:30 pm.Service Information
