Ilene Marie Mecham Evans

Ilene Marie Mecham Evans age 82 passed away June 9, 2022 in Midvale, UT of natural causes.  Ilene was born March 13, 1940 in Salt lake City, UT  to Rulon J. Mecham and Thelma Black Mecham.  Ilene, along with her Mom, Dad,  two brothers and two sisters (all deceased) lived on their mink ranch on Mecham Lane in Union, Utah and always shared great memories of growing up there.  Ilene married Robert Leroy Evans, SR. in 1957  (later divorced) but they remained friends until Dad’s passing in 2011.  Mom was a wonderful cook and her door was always open to everyone that needed a meal or just a shoulder to lean on, and was know as Mom or Grandma to many more than just her family.
Ilene is survived by her Daughter Barbara Dumas (Clayton), Terry Cummings (Mike), Janice Evans, Richard Evans and preceded in death by her Son Robert Leroy Evans, Jr.
Grandchildren:  Natalie Dumas-Heidt, Kendall Dumas, David Schaelling, Danielle Evans, Heather Parker, Ryan Evans, Paige Evans, Shane Cummings, Chance Evans and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Services for the immediate family will be held Thursday June 23, 2022.
