Ila Halligan

Ila Mae Halligan, age 87, passed away at home on June 4, 2021 in South Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born January 21, 1934 to Willis and Ila Marie Forsgren, in Corrine, Utah.
Ila has seven children, first born being Christie. She married Richard Ingleby and together they had four boys; Gene, Bob, Jerry and Mike, later they divorced. She then married the love of her life Elliott Halligan, and together they had two daughters; Sandra and Machelle.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors, her children, and grandchildren. She loved bowling and was in a league for several years. Lagoon was one of her favorite places to visit. She worked at The Pie Company, where she was nicknamed “Eagle Eye”, because she could always pick out pies without a bottom crust (which were her favorite). Her number one favorite show was WWE and she would never miss an episode.
Ila is survived by her children; Christie (Randy) Johnson, Jerry (Terry) Ingleby, Mike Ingleby, Sandra (David) Keller, and Machelle Halligan, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton, Joyce Walker, Darlene, Sylvia, Leonard Severson, George, Dick, Elliot, Gene (Laura) Halligan, Bob (Susan) Halligan, and Alex.
Graveside services will be held on June 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with a viewing two hours prior at the Memorial Mountain View Mortuary; 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Interment to follow.
