Ian Scipio Bennett

November 29, 1978 — January 13, 2022

Our beloved Husband, Father, Son and Brother, Ian Scipio Bennett, passed away after a two-month battle with a serious illness, at the age of 43.
He is survived by the love of his life, Valarie Cook Bennett, his beloved children, Paeton, Atticus, and special step-son, Sonny Pollock. He is also survived by his father, Lance Bennett, his mother, Kim Gallo and his brother, Boaz Gallo, his extended family, step-mother and father, Gene and Debbie Vought, step-brother, Shane (Jenny) Samuelson, his special in-laws, Ronald and Vickie Cook, brothers and sisters, Jarred (Stephanie) Cook, Autumn (Tracy) Prettyman and April Cook, many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Amy Marsing.
Ian owned and operated Bennett Fiberglass with his dad, Lance. He had many clients who loved his work – they called him the top fiberglass man in Utah. A sample of his work…Snowie Shacks that pop up all over Utah during the summer months.
Services will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM with a viewing from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So, He wrapped His loving arms around you and whispered, “Come with me.”
We will always love you, Ian!
