Hunter Stanley Saltas Hayes

Hunter, our handsome, loving son, grandson and brother passed away November 4, 2016. Hunter was born on April 24, 1999 in Salt Lake City to Heather Saltas Hayes and Michael Hayes. He was blessed to have had a special bond with his Yiayia and Papou, Karen and Stanley Saltas, who helped shape him into the young man he became.
Hunter loved being outside, camping, hiking and fishing with his family and took every opportunity to go airsofting with his best friend Austin Fox. He had an incredible sense of humor and was an amazing impersonator that would have everyone in stitches; especially his impersonation of Forrest Gump that could rival Tom Hanks. He was a proud member of the honor guard with the JLTC program at Copper Hills High School. Hunter enjoyed playing baseball and football and always had his grandma Kathy cheering him on from the stands.
He is survived by his mom and dad, sister Amy, Yiayia and Papou, grandmother Kathy Hayes and grandfather Brent Hayes. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 11 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM where friends and family may call. Funeral services will be the following day, Saturday, November 12 at 11:00AM, both at Redwood Memorial Estates 6500 South Redwood Road. Please come and share in the celebration of Hunter’s life.
