Hugh Erwin Clawson

Hugh Erwin Clawson, Beloved Husband, father brother, grandfather and friend passed away at 10:15 am September 20, 2018.
He was born to Marion L. and Florence J. Clawson in Phoenix, Arizona on January 10, 1948.  Hugh graduated in 1966 from Highland High.  He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Gulf States Mission.  A few years after his mission he met his sweetheart Melva, They got married on January 21, 1972.  He eventually joined the Air National Guard where he stayed till he retired in November 2006.   He leaves behind his Daughter Monica her husband Michael Sullivan.  Son Michael his wife Julianne Clawson.  4 Grandchildren Elizabeth, Hannah, Nichole and Matthew Sullivan.  His brothers Laurence, Dale, Neil, Greg and Edwin Clawson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Florence Clawson, daughter Anna, Wife Melva and Sister Karen Brown.
The Viewing will be held on Thursday September 27, 2018 from 6-8 pm., at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Dr.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 28, 2018 at the Valley View Ward, 5927 So. Parkwood Dr. (5030 W.) at 11:00 am.  Viewing also that morning from 9:30 to about 10:30. Memories may be shared at www.memorialutah.com
