Holie Ann Parker, 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Holie was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Ruth Boutsis.
Holie had a wild and adventurous spirit about her. She started her family at the young age of 16 before pursuing a career in cosmetology, which she turned into a hobby instead of a career. She was able to put that wild spirit to work as a manager for Flying J, where she worked for 12 years. She got to travel, meet all sorts of people, and made many friends there before switching careers to be an Insurance Agent for AAA. She absolutely loved her job and friends at AAA, calling them her “work family” more often than just friends.
Holie loved her family very much as well and she couldn’t wait for the next family get-together to take place. She was a doting grandma, always bragging about her grandkids. She was the type of person who was the life of the party, sociable and funny. She was loving, stubborn, yet strong-willed and determined. When she set her mind on something, there was no stopping her from achieving her goal. She enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, going to concerts, weekend brunch dates, burritos, and spending time with friends and family.
Holie was predeceased by her mother Ruth Boutsis Parker and her brother Ronald J Parker. She is survived by her children: Jesse Nieser, Jerie (Matthew) Smith; Grandchildren: Jace Nieser, Jordan Rasmussen, Jesse Nieser, Braxton Rasmussen, and Caitlynn Smith. She is also survived by her siblings: Lynne (Kevin) Justesen, David Parker, Stephanie Morris, and her many nieces and nephews.
