Henrietta L. Higgins (Etta) passed away on December 13, 2017 in West Valley City, Utah. She was born on April 8, 1943 to Verl C. Elliott Sr. and Henrietta S. Ploeger in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bowling and making Manny’s chili were her specialties. She was a Jack of all Trades and a Master of None at Manny’s Bar for 29 ½ years. She was a 9 time division winner of The U.G.L.Y. Bartender Contest. She also worked at NPS for 15 years as a cashier.
She is survived by her three daughters; Utah (Bill) Garner, Ann Ratliff, and Terrie Lasrich, her son; Wally Clausing, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, sisters; Sandafer; Connie, and Marsha, and brothers; Chris, Blaine, and Roger.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother; Verl C. Elliott and Henrietta S. Brown, sister; Dorothy Atkinson, brother; Verl C. (Skip) Elliott Jr., and 3 grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2 PM with a viewing 30 minutes prior at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT.
