Helen R. Wollenhaupt

Helen R. Wollenhaupt, age 95, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 5, 1929, to Kurt Krueger and Martha Mueller. She married Ken E. Wollenhaupt on March 17, 1956. Helen was a spunky, friendly, fun-loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, with a lively sense of humor. She loved life, and she loved people. She enjoyed walking, baking goodies for friends and family, tying quilts, listening to German music, and doing family history and temple work. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters Margarette LaBissoniere, Mae Fleming, and Marty Knox-Standfill; and brothers Carl Buehler, Butch Buehler, Will Buehler, Gary Krueger, and Wayne Krueger. She is survived by her children Kiz Hancock and Kenny Wollenhaupt (Cassee Harper); brothers Paul Krueger, Ray Krueger, Steve Krueger, and Gene Buehler; sisters Judy Dombrock, Pat Hawkinson, Mary Gutnecht, and Karen Wesen; grandchildren Mike Hancock (Courtney), Nate Hancock, Kami Hancock, Lance Hancock (Ashley), Rhysa Yannotti, and Nigel Wollenhaupt; great-grandchildren Chloe, Alexander, Lizzy, Emily, Korra, and Archer Hancock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. Funeral services will be on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM with a viewing prior from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Memorial Redwood. The entombment follows services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery at the same address.
