Helen Nielsen

.Helen Judd Nielsen, age 84 passed away on 14 February 2014 in West Jordan Utah. She was born 16 January 1930 in Lakeview Utah to Daniel Ray Judd & Lila Steele. She married Melvin Leonard Nielsen on 21 October 1950. She worked as a tax preparer at H&R Block for thirty years. She volunteered at a hospital ER for several years. She volunteered at a Senior Center doing taxes for the seniors there. She enjoyed quilting, bowling and playing the card game bridge. She did indexing for the Church and did over 100,000 names. Her greatest joy was raising her three sons. She is survived by son, Michael R. Nielsen & spouse Carolyn. Son Dennis M. Nielsen & spouse Angie, daughter-in-law Lisa S. Nielsen. Grandchildren: Steven Nielsen & spouse Kristen, Dustin Nielsen, Kristen Hughes & spouse Rusty, Paul Nielsen & spouse Heidi, Eric Nielsen & spouse Mikaela, Alec Nielsen and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Nielsen and son Ronald Nielsen. Funeral services will be held on 22 February 2014 at 11am in the LDS chapel at 8950 South 1300 West, West Jordan Utah. She was loved by all and will be missed very much. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
