Helen Mae (Robinson) Allen “Grandma Honey”
Reunited with her loving husband Dennis Allen on June 12, 2021 (and several other family members – the reunion must be fantastic and the flagpole in Eureka is finally safe)
Born 12/4/1931 to R. Wesley and Ruby Hurst Robinson. Graduate of Tintic High School in Eureka, Utah (…a long, long time ago)
She successfully raised 3 children, 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many adopted family members that she made her own without tearing all her hair out!
She was known most for her funny sayings, (we called them “Grandma Honey-isms”) and unwanted remarks.
Survived by 2 sons, Dennis Kim Allen (Seri), Russel Leon Allen, and Daughter Marijo Hendren (Cecil)
6 Grandchildren, Wes Allen (Kristina), Megan Sutton (Evan), Chantelle Brady (Brian), Whitney Allen (Kaci), Travis Barnson, Treyson Allen (and they all knew where the candy drawer was)
Sister Collette Prestwich (Harold – Deceased) and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by parents, brothers Bob, John, Leon, niece Noel, nephew Lynn, plus several other family members and friends.
A special thank you to Intermountain Homecare and Hospice for all the care, love, help, and support they all provided.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday 6/19/2021 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. A viewing will be held two hours prior (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM) on the same day at the same location.
She is loved and will be missed by many.
