Heidi Ocampo Trieu

Heidi 51, passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2017 in West Valley City, Utah. She was born in Manila, Philippines on June 23, 1965. She married Nhon Nhu Trieu.
Heidi was an avid movie-goer, and liked watching professional tennis and figure skating. She enjoyed singing to everything from Prince to The Sound of Music, dancing, shopping with her family, making everyone laugh, and by being her children’s biggest fan.
She was a loving wife and proud mother of three children, she instilled selflessness in them. She was a dedicated employee for over 20 years; from basketball, to swimming, her children’s dreams were her own. Heidi took pride in being the maker of the best Thanksgiving dinner.
She is survived by her husband; Nhon Trieu, daughter; Genieve (Mike) Pool, her two sons; Alan and Royale Trieu. One sister; Marichu (Hector) Cordero, one brother; Dennis (Linda) Ocampo, and her mother and father; Angelina and Alberto Ocampo.
Heidi is preceded in death by her in laws; Bang Hung Trieu and Hung Thi Ung.
Funeral services for Heidi will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday January 24, 2017 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah. Friends and family may come for a viewing one hour prior to the services at the mortuary.
