Hazel Lloyd

Hazel V. Lloyd age 97, passed away in the early morning hours of December 12, 2014. She was born in VanBuren County Iowa in 1917. Hazel married Glen Eugene Lloyd on May 26, 1954.
She worked as a Trust Operations Officer at First Security Bank for 30 years. Hazel spent many years as a volunteer at Cottonwood Hospital. Much time was spent as a member of the American Business Woman's Association. When Hazel retired she was able to spend more time in her garden, playing the piano, sewing, bowling and caring for her cats.
Hazel is survived by her daughter-in-law, Judith M. Dennis, Step-son, Glenn E. Lloyd
(Susan). Two grandsons, Ian (Rachel), Michael (Erin), seven great grandchildren,
Lewis, Jacob, Teagan, Aidan, Morgan, Dylan and Kellan. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen E. Lloyd, son Richard E. Dennis, her parents Jesse and Elizabeth and two sisters, Nina and Lucille.
Funeral services will be held Thursday December 18, 2014 at the Cottonwood 1st Ward; 5913 S. Highland Drive. Viewing will be at the church at 10:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 S Memory Lane (1990 E.)
