Hampton Winn Woodside, Age 50
Died on March 17, 2020, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
He was born on May 29th, 1969, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Carol Winn Woodside and Edward Reed Woodside.
Hamp started life as a globetrotter, for at the age of three months, he and his mother traveled to Guatemala to join his father Edward, who was working as a Geologist/Paleontologist at the time. By the time Hamp was age 15, he had also lived in Singapore, Australia, and finally Scotland, where he graduated from high school. Hamp finally settled back in Salt Lake City in 1985 where he began his family. Hamp loved to work on anything mechanical and had a 27-year career at Frank Edwards Company in Salt Lake City. He was a collector and had several collections of which he was very proud. He absolutely loved animals and had two dogs which were constant companions.
Hamp is survived by his three children, Cody, Chance and Cheyenne Woodside, his mother Carol Winn Woodside, his half-brother Alex (Natasha) Woodside, and three half-sisters, Suzanne (Jim) Haman, Michelle Delahunt, and Annette Schafer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
A private funeral service was held on March 20, 2020
