Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Opa, Great-Opa and Uncle.
Ben Rietveld (age 87) passed away September 29, 2018, peacefully at home and returned to his Heavenly Father. Ben was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands on January 14, 1931 to Arie and Sophia Rietveld. He married Janny Hille on April 2, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. Ben and Janny later enjoyed serving an inner city mission together.
He enjoyed soccer and tennis, but his passion in life was his family and friends.
Ben was preceded in death by his wife and daughters, Sharon Jane and Amber Michelle.
He is survived by his children, Diana (Oliver), Roy (Debbie), Elizabeth (Michael), John and Nancy; 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Memorial Mountain View, 3115 E. 7800 S.Service Information
