Gwen Chesley

Gwen MarcellaWinn Chesley, returned to her Heavenly Father on Jan 2nd, 2015. She was a beloved wife, mother of 7, grandmother of 32, great grandmother of 56, sister and friend.
Born June 11th, 1926, to William Marion Winn and Marcella Andrew Winn, in Ruth Nevada.
She married Evan Glenn Chesley on October 16, 1946 in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Gwen was an accomplished musician, and shared her talent with all she knew.
She taught music lessons to hundreds of children and many of her grand-children.
She played the organ in the Jordan River Temple for over 20 years.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many positions in the Relief Society. She also served as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple.
Gwen will be missed by her loving husband, Evan Chesley and her children, Dennis, Vie Campbell, Marion, Douglas & Randy Chesley. She will be reunited with her daughter, Pamela Chesley Lee, and son Richard Chesley, who preceded her in death.
Viewing from 6-8 p.m. on Monday January 5th at Mountain View Memorial Estates 3115 East Bengal Blvd (7800 South) Salt Lake City, Utah, and 1 hour prior to the funeral service at 11am January 6th at the River Oakes Stake Center on 8950 South 1300 West, West Jordan Utah. Internment at Mountain View Memorial Estates.
