On Friday, August 26, 2022 Guillermina Velazquez-Calderon Berroa, loving mother, passed away peacefully at the age of 79.
Guillermina was born on January 10, 1943, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Gonzalo B. Velazquez Valdez and Maria Calderon Contreras. She was married to the love of her life Rafael A. Berroa and later were sealed for time and eternity at the New York Temple on July 22, 2004.
Guillermina loved to serve and help others. She was a faithful member of the Church of JesusChrist of Latter Day Saints. She was also a doctor who loved her patients and was dedicated to help them.
She is survived by her children Johanna Berroa Velazquez and Gonzalo Berroa Velazquez, granddaughters Anzay Lee, Genesis and Giovanna, sisters Martha Isalguez, Nury Isalguez and Rosa Velazquez and her nieces and nephews. Guillermina was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Gonzalo Bienvenido Velazquez Calderon.
The family would like to thank Huntsman Center for their care in her final days.
