Gregory Ross Lloyd

Gregory Ross Lloyd, 54, passed away peacefully at his home on February 21, 2016. Greg was born July 8, 1961 in Provo, Utah, to Ross Elmer and Alice White Lloyd.  He was married to Vila Cochran and together they had one child, Braden. They were later divorced. Greg was then married to Evelyn Macnaughtan for a time, later divorced.
Greg was raised in Salt Lake City and attended Cottonwood High School. During part of his teenage years he worked on a farm in Payson, Utah alongside his brother Mark.  After high school he spent a short time in Price Utah as a security guard at a power plant.  Greg was an expert mechanic with the bulk of his career focused in the transmission repair business around the Salt Lake City area.  He loved spending time outdoors, and was an avid fisherman and hunter.  Greg especially had love for German Shepherds, Dodge trucks, and most of all enjoyed the moments he had with his son Braden and Vila when they would go camping, boating, or just be a part of the beautiful mountains.
Greg is survived by his son Braden; his parents Ross and Alice; his four sibling’s sister Lanette Sharp, brother Mark (Angie) Lloyd, sister Pam (Brett) Meadows, brother Brent (Jen) Lloyd.
Graveside services will be held at Murray Cemetery, 5490 S. Vine St, Murray, UT, 84107 on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be left for the family at www.memorialutah.com.
