Our loving husband and father passed away at home on January 13, 2014. He was born on April 25, 1925, in SLC, UT, to Hilmar Adelhart Rasmussen and Elise Nielsen Rasmussen. He married Donna Mae Ballard on March 17, 1950, in SLC, UT. He retired from Bennett’s Paint and Glass then worked for the Murray Parkway Golf Course. His passion was his faith, his cats and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; Children, Derrell (Sandy), Renae, JoAnn, Jeneane (Jeff) and Paula; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 S. Vine St., Murray. A viewing will be held on Thursday beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 E., Murray. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
