Grace Raff, 99, of Taylorsville, Utah, passed away on September 27, 2015. She was born July 15, 1916, the daughter of Chauncey Carlos Loveland and Lilly Larson. She married Carson Rawlings Healy on October 19, 1939. She later married Dayton Carl Raff on November 20, 1991, who preceded her in death.
Grace enjoyed reading and sharing her insights with her local book club. She also enjoyed traveling, both domestic and foreign with friends and family. She was best known for her homestyle cooking. She was famous for her dinner rolls, sticky buns, and Sunday dinners, where there were always guests at her table.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout her life she held many church callings and was Relief Society president twice. She served four missions total, serving in the eastern states, a local stake mission, in California, and at Temple Square.
She is survived by her five children Jerry Kay Stewart (Gordon) of Boise Idaho, Courtney Loveland Healy of Salt Lake City, Lana M Roseborough (J) of Taylorsville, Bartley Carson Healy of California, Lee Craig Healy (Maria) of Ft. Lauderdale Florida, 23 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, one sister Margaret Platt of McMinnville, Oregon) and Carlos Loveland of Boise Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters Josie Fisk, Irene Husky, Shirley Zyer, and Lillian Rich.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, at the Taylors Grove Ward on 4845 South Woodhaven Drive. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn
