Siblings (all deceased): Kathleen Cottam Riding, Mason McAllister Cottam, Agnes Cottam Beacham, and Caroline Cottam Bennett.
She finished 2 years at Dixie College
She was married to Gladen Gubler Dalton October 29, 1941 in the St. George Temple by the newly ordained Apostle, Elder Harold B. Lee.
She is survived by two sons, Eric & (Claudia) and Douglas & (Arlene). She had 14 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She loved serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served as Primary President, Stake Young Women’s President, twice as Relief Society President and Stake Sunday School Secretary. She served many years in the Salt Lake Temple with her husband. She served as the Saturday Supervisor at the Salt Lake Temple for many years. Grace and Gladen served two missions. The first one was for 26 months in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where Gladen supervised the construction of the first L.D.S. Chapel in Rio. She served as the Financial Clerk. They served a second mission to Ventura California.
Grace was a kind and gentle person who loved to help people. She never raised her voice in anger. She will be missed by all who knew her, but she is now with those she loved who preceded her in death.
