Gloria Martinez

Gloria G. Martinez, age 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on October 5, 2022.
Gloria was born on July 12, 1939 in Mora, New Mexico to Epimenia and Manuel Gallegos.
Gloria went on to marry the love of her life, Leo Martinez, on July 29, 1961.
She was a member of the Catholic church and graduated from Bingham High. She was a bi-lingual teaching assistant for many years. She was very caring and loving to all her kids and grandkids. She loved crocheting baby blankets. Everyone always talks about her great sense of humor. Gloria will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her.
Family would like to thank Active Hospice for all of their compassion for our mother.
Gloria is Survived by her children Leo Jr. (Lisa) Martinez, and Rebecca Martinez, her brother Carlos (Lily) Gallegos, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Epimenia and Manuel Gallegos, her husband Leo Martinez, and their two sons Tom and Bill Martinez, as well as her three brothers Roy, Albert and Dennis Gallegos.
A Viewing will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery on Thursday October 13, 2022 at 6:00 PM followed by a Holy Rosary service at 7:30 PM.
A Second viewing will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church Friday October 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM followed by a Catholic Mass.
Interment will take place at the Midvale City Cemetery on 583 West Sixth Ave, Midvale, Utah. A luncheon is scheduled to follow the internment.
