Gloria M. Hollis passed away November 27, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on July 19, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Earl and Hallie McGinty. She married Byron A. Hollis in 1941 in Washington, D.C.
She was primarily a homemaker and an avid painter. She loved music and dancing. She was a mother to four sons and one grandchild.
She is survived by two sons, Blaine and Byron C. Hollis and a granddaughter, Jennifer McDaniel.
Preceded in death by her husband and two sons; Brent and Bruce Hollis.
A Graveside Service will be held, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue & N Street. Contact the cemetery at 801-596-5020 for directions to the gravesite.
