Gloria Dawn Wade Steel

Gloria Dawn Wade Steel born June 13th, 1937, age 86, passed peacefully surrounded by family, on August 7th, 2023. Gloria was born in St. George Utah to Denby and Dorthy Wade. Shortly after the family relocated to Las Vegas NV. After High School, Gloria moved to Salt Lake City to attend beauty school. This is where she met and married the love of her life Ronald Garth Steel on August 29th, 1957. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the LDS Temple on November 16th, 2002. Together they raised 3 children Ron (Brenda) Steel, Bob (Kathy) Steel, and Jolene (Rex) Petersen. Her true joys were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who kept her young and busy. David Steel (Rhyen and Presley), Wade (Mindy) Steel (Kenzie), Melissa (Brandon) McKee (Tucker and Colton), Trent Steel (Dallace Demler), and Austin (Brooke) Petersen (Teagan and Aspen). Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved husband Garth, parents Denby and Dorthy, brother Larry and wife Pam, and her Aunt Doris. She will be missed greatly by all her family, extended family and friends.
Viewing to be held at the Country Crossing LDS Church: 2812 West 11800 South, South Jordan, Utah from 6 pm – 8 pm on August 14th, 2023.
Prior to the graveside service there will be a second viewing held at the Country Crossing LDS Church (Address above) from 10 am – 11 am on August 15th, 2023.
Graveside Service will be held following the viewing at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
