Gloria Amparo Lujan

June 14, 1940 — October 18, 2016

Gloria was a beautiful wife, mother, grandma, great-grandmother, and aunt. You’ve left us in body, but not in spirit. You’ve returned to the other side of the veil to be with your loved ones on October 18, 2016. She was the widow to Marino Lujan, they shared 48 years together. Gloria was born on June 14, 1940 in Palmira, Colombia. Daughter of Francisco Suarez and Ana Rosa Echeverry. Mother of Sandra Benites, Pilar Guerrero, and Gloria Hunter. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for the last 40 years. She spent the majority of her time with her daughters in Utah and Atlanta. She was a mother and a great friend who enjoyed traveling, visiting family, and spending time with friends. She loved serving those who needed her. Gloria excelled at being a great mother who devoted herself to family, home, and the teachings of the Lord. Gloria met God’s purpose in every way while here on Earth. Today and always we will remember her for the loving, good, sweet, and tender person she was. She always shared her good humor and spontaneous happiness. With faith today we say goodbye to our Sister of God, Gloria. With hope in God’s love, we declare not a goodbye, but an “Until We Meet Again”. We understand that our Heavenly Father has called her up to be in his divine presence. Gloria leaves our hearts full of lessons, knowledge, virtues, and great strength. Her unforgettable and beautiful memories will always be amongst us and within our hearts. Gloria enjoyed and felt peace in the presence of God.
