Glenden B Coope

Glenden B. Coope, 87, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2018 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born January 11, 1931 to Parley and Ivy Dean Cowley Blair, in Butlerville, Utah. She was the youngest child of 11. She met her eternal companion at Mountain Fuel Supply Company, when she almost ran over him with her car. Bob was smitten and decided then and there that that was who he was going to marry. They were married September 21, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple. Glenden loved her bridge days and her buddies, Carol, Terrie and Dianna. Glenden and Bob had 5 children, Brenda Baumgardner, Chris (Tom) Monthey, Debbie (Dennis) Potwin, Jim (DeeAnn) Coope and Dee Brijs; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge Carlos, Melrose and Alyson for their years of dedication to Glenden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Memorial Mt. View Mortuary, 3115 East Bengal Blvd. (7800 S.) A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
