Glenda Thurber

June 6, 1943 — February 23, 2017

Glenda Thurber, 73, died on February 23 in Salt Lake City of natural causes. She was born in Ogden, Utah, daughter of Glendon and Maurine Thurber.
Glenda was very creative, crocheting afghans for many lucky recipients. She made friends wherever she went.  She had an excellent memory and remembered her family fondly and often.
In her early years, she was responsible for raising the many children she looked after each day.
She always did her best in spite of her limitations. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her brothers Randy (Chris), Val (Karen), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Irv and Annie Hennefer and Vern and Vera Thurber, her parents, Glendon and Maurine Thurber and her great nephew, Zane.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28th at 11:00 am at the Holladay-Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 S Highland Drive. Viewings will be held on Monday evening, February 27th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the mortuary and one hour prior to services. Interment: Holladay Memorial Park, located immediately east of the old Cottonwood Mall, 4900 S. Memory Lane.
