Glenda Lehmkuhl

January 4, 1940 — February 29, 2016

Our beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and family members on February 29, 2016. She was born on January 4, 1940 to Stephen Elmer Shelton & Rhea Leona Smith in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married her eternal companion Thomas L. Lehmkuhl on June 22, 1974. They along with their children were sealed as an eternal family, November 17, 1979 in the Salt Lake Temple. Glenda served in many church callings, Relief Society, Primary President and many years in the Young Women’s as camp director, which she loved. She was a faithful visiting teacher, loved the gospel and her family very much. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband Tom, her daughter Jamie Rogers (Sam), sons Todd Klein (Lisa) & Nate Lehmkuhl (Jessica), brother Lynn Shelton (Carol), 9 grandchildren which she adored, many nieces and nephews & 1 great grandson. Preceded in death by her parents Stephen E. & Rhea, and her brothers Norman, Rex & Calvin Shelton. Viewing Sunday, March 6, 6-8pm at the Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E 7800 S. Funeral service Monday, March 7, 11am at the Butler Hills Ward on Fort Union & 2700 East in Cottonwood Heights.
