Gladys G. McGlochlin, 92, passed away on January 30, 2015, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah
She was born on June 28, 1922, in Meridian, Idaho to Earl Clifford Leach and Hazel Starett Leach
After a long struggle with declining health, our mother, affectionately known to us as “Ma”, quietly moved on to the next life Friday, January 30, 2015.
While attending college in Boise, she worked as a secretary in the state legislature. A math and spelling wizard, she could remember names and dates for everything.
She is a loving wife and mother, and an excellent cook. Ma loved singing in women’s choirs and playing golf with friends. Later in life, she loved taking annual trips with her two sisters.
Anyone who knew her would agree that she left a legacy of goodness and character to her extended offspring.
She is survived by four of five children: Brent, Anne, David and Scott; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Basil and daughter Sherry.
Viewing, funeral services, and interment will be on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Mountain View Memorial 3115 E. 7800 S. Viewing at 10 am, funeral at 11 am, interment 12:15 pm.
