Geraldine Ardith Hardy Maskil, age 85, passed away on November 25, 2019, in South Jordan, Utah. She was born on October 20, 1934 in Price, Utah, to Lloyd and Enid Hardy of Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Kenneth Robert Maskil Sr. in 1961.
Geraldine spent most of her life as a nurses aide. She cared for many people with illnesses and disabilities. She worked for the United Cerebral Palsey Organization in San Diego, California for many years in the late 1960’s and throughout the entire decade of the seventies. She was highly loved and respected by the people she cared for, as well as the United Cerebral Palsey Organization of San Diego. People have always referred to her as a sweet, loving, and beautiful person. Her faith in God, and in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and unwavering belief during the last 30 years of her life and she will be highly respected in the Kingdom of Heaven as well as she was during her time here on Earth.
She is survived by her 3 children; Judy Green Davis Griswold, James Douglas Lucero Sr. (USMC retired), and Kenneth Robert Maskil Jr., brothers Larry Hardy of Salt Lake City and Leonard Evan Hardy of Spanish Fork.
She is preceded in death by her first husband John Green, last betrothed Kenneth Robert Maskil Sr., eldest son David Green, third child John Green, granddaughter Jamie Davis (passed away far too young at very near the start of our new millennium), beloved parents, and grandson James Douglas Lucero Jr.
A viewing will take place Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM all at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123. Interment is to follow at the same location.
