Jerry was born in Salt Lake City to Allen LaVell and Ida Leora Duke on February 17, 1943. Married to Shauna Carlson July 26, 1969 and later divorced. He married Leanora Fellows “Norty” on August 1, 1998.
Jerry was a member of the Hillsdale ward and held many callings. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed golfing and football. He retired from the Salt Lake City Department of Airports after 17 years working as a shuttle driver.
Jerry is survived by son David (Lori) Duke and Philip (Lan-Jy) Duke, Grandsons Shatan and Zackary Duke, Step Children, and grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in Death by wife Norty, his parents and sisters.
Graveside Services will be held Monday September 14, 2015 12:00 pm at the Farmington City Cemetery, 500 South 200 East, Farmington, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6-8pm Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
