Georgia “Veloy” Cloward Thomas

Veloy was born to Byron P. Cloward and Edith Lundell Cloward on February 22nd, 1929 in Benjamin, Utah.
Veloy married Dean Eldton Thomas on June 25th, 1947 in the Manti Utah Temple. She was a loving wife mother, aunt, sister, grandma and great-grandma. She had four brothers, Dean (Cres), Melvin “Pete” (Anna) Stanley (Connie), and Ray (Jetta).
Dean and Veloy were married for 47 years. They had three children; Keven, Honaye, Starr (Mary). They had five grandchildren; Jacob (Morgan), Paislee (Michael), Mason (Montana), Hayden (Tina), and Dalton, along with five great grandchildren; Oakley, Hudson, Abel, Elton, and Juniper.
Veloy had a beautiful voice. She loved singing with her mother and brother and was a member of a quartet named The Honey Notes for many years. Veloy is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Veloy held many positions within the church. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband Dean. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.Service Information
