Georgia Elnora Boulton

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Elnora Boulton on March 13, 2025.

Georgia Elnora Goudy Boulton was born Dec.28, 1937 in Bertha, Douglas County Missouri to Warren Alexander Titus Goudy and Delilah Susan Ferguson. She was the youngest of five children. She married Robert Lee Boulton on June 11, 1958 in the Salt Lake City temple. Having an eternal family was very important to her. She is survived by her five children; Georgia Lee (Cass Miller) Cheryl Lynn (Larry Hatch) Beric Goudy (Tracy Freestone) Camille Ann (Dwayne Thomas) Connie Rae (Nolan Thompson) They will miss her greatly. She was a very caring person and very passionate about her family. She has 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was 17, she met Robert while he was serving his mission in Missouri. After a short romance mostly through letters, she came out West to Utah to marry him in the Salt Lake City Temple. After living in Nevada and Idaho they made their home in Bountiful Utah where they raised their children.

She was a very talented and passionate woman. Things she will be known for are making sure her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren knew how important they were to her by sending them homemade birthday cards and taking special interest in everything they did. Also, her love of trees and gardening, being a master seamstress. Making her home beautiful with her love of beautiful dishes and centerpieces that were always present at her dinner table.

She served faithfully in every calling she had in the gospel she loved so much and sacrificed so much to be a member. She will also be remembered for sharing her strong testimony of Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon and the Bible, making sure her children knew how much she loved and how grateful she is for her Savior Jesus Christ. We know she was welcomed with open arms by all those she had spent her adult life doing genealogy and temple work for. She will be greatly missed, but we know she is off to do better things.

A graveside service for Elnora will be on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary & Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful.
