George Jones Sr.

George Allen Jones Sr. passed away on September 19, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. George was born on January 11, 1951 in Provo, Utah to Farrell and Myrtle Jones.
George proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He built his career as a Sheet metal Journeyman and retired after 33 years. He enjoyed playing the snare drum, baseball and football. He loved surfing, golfing, fishing, hunting and camping. He loved spending time with family and friends and his grandchildren were the pride and joys of his life. George married Cindy Thompson on March 15,1975 (Later divorced) and together they had three (3) beautiful children. George will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
George is survived by his three children George Jones Jr. (Sarah), Amber Elliott, Justin (Nikki) Jones. His grandchildren Geovanni, Peyton, Wesley, Corinne, Elise, Ethan, Pierce, Vanessa and Hailey. His siblings Farrell Brady Jones Jr., Bonnie Vasquez, Debbie (Darwin) Cuvelier, Kelly (Nancy) Jones, Julia Hernandez and Jesse Jones.
He is preceded in death by his parents Farrell Sr. and Myrtle Jones, sister Gloria, brothers Kenny and Brent and two nephews.
Services will be held on Friday September 24, 2021 at 12:00 pm.
