George J. Mannos

May 14, 1947 — September 30, 2021

George J. Mannos Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 30th in Holladay, Utah.
Born May 14th, 1947 to George James Mannos and Mary P. Mannos. Preceded in death by both his parents, his grandparents, as well as many loving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by Dean G. Mannos and Gail, in Midway, Utah, Kathy and Les Lake in Mesa, Az. Nieces and nephews Anna Mannos Crabtree, Jason and Mary Ellis, in Park City, Catherine and Christopher Lake, Anabelle and Madeline Ellis, Tessa and Alison Crabtree. Also, many relatives that loved George deeply, as he loved them back.
Georgie defied the odds. He climbed every single obstacle and laughed at those that said it wouldn’t happen. To the friends and relatives that knew him best, he taught us acceptance, humility, compassion, tolerance, and the power of humor. But most of all unconditional love. He loved every single person that came into his life, Frankly, if this world had more Georgies, it would be a much better place to live. We hope he is now singing, playing the piano and his harmonica.
A very special thank you to the Turn Community and their caring staff so many years. And to Toni Smith, his Guardian Angel. Your love and dedication gave Georgie a fuller life.
