He would often mail-order trinkets and gadgets in bulk that he would pass out to family.
George found love again with Marian Wood, who has been a great blessing in his life. They were married in the Jordan River Temple in 2008. George and Marian have resided in Riverton, Utah since that time. They spent their time making each other happy and going on as many trips as they could, sharing experiences with family, friends and neighbors.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he served as a stake missionary, a member of the bishopric, and for many years as a ward and stake financial clerk. After retirement he served as a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple which he dearly loved.

Allred (Penny), Carolyn Allred Garcia and Dianne Allred. 10 grandchildren (plus one grandchild who died in infancy) and 20 great-grandchildren.
