George Brent Petersen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Brent Petersen on March 19th, 2022 in his home in Murray.
As a proud husband, brother, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa he was always happy to share all his useless bits of information with us.
Grandpa George has gone to find his perfect fishing spot and wait for us to join him. He proudly served with the West Jordan Police for 27 years and then with the state for another 10 years.
George is survived by his wife Connie Petersen, his children Terry (Audra) Petersen & Shelly (Jim) Houghtby, 6 grandkids, and 3 great-grandkids. Also a brother, sisters, many nephews and nieces. Along with many friends he made along the way.
We will be celebrating his life on Tuesday March 29th at Redwood Memorial Estates. (6500 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123) There will be a viewing at 12:00 PM with services to follow at 2:00 PM.
University of Utah or red apparel is suggested.
