Gayle Waldhouse Kefauver

January 28, 1959 — March 14, 2017

Our much-loved daughter, sister, and aunt passed away on March 14, 2017. Gayle was born on January 28, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harold and Maylene Cummings Waldhouse.
After graduating from Cottonwood High School, she married James Kefauver. They resided in the Salt Lake area and later divorced. Gayle loved nature, the outdoors and wildlife, going to the family cabin, fishing and hiking. Gardening was a favorite joy for her, growing beautiful flowers and vegetables. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, crocheting and making things for others. She was very thoughtful, remembering birthdays with handmade cards and picking out special gifts for each person. Gayle especially loved animals, riding horses when she was younger, feeding ducks at the park along with quail, stray cats and other animals that would come around. Gayle loved and cared for her special pets over the years; Missy the cat, birds, dogs and a turtle.
She is survived by her mother and father, sisters; Susan (Glen) and Lynda, and brother Steven. Also her nieces, nephews and their families.
A celebration of life gathering for family and friends will be on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Memorial Murray Mortuary, located at 5850 South 900 East, Murray, UT 84121.
