On March 21, 2025, Garett left this world, but not before he had touched the hearts of so many people.
Garett was born on a Friday, August 13th in Salt Lake City, Utah. From the day he was born, Garett faced many medical issues but he beat the odds and blessed us with a great 25 years. As he would always say “I’m a miracle.”
Early in life, Garett discovered a great love for music; opera to be exact and if he could sing, he would. Garett was so kindhearted. He could walk into a room and walk out with a new friend. His quick wit and sense of humor were one of a kind. Garett also had a love for fishing, playing his tin whistle, and his love for food almost trumped his love for music.
Garett was an old soul and to know him, well it was an honor. Garett would say right now, “Enough of this malarkey. I am fine.” Love you son.
Garett is survived by his parents, Kathy Forsgren Ringel (Nick) and Christopher Forsgren (Natalie); his two brothers, Zach Forsgren and Brice Gilbert; his grandparents, Don and Natalie Glover and Ken and LaDean Forsgren.
Garett was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde & Sara Buff, his uncle Buffy (Clyde Jr.), his aunt Josephine Vasquez, and Great-Grandmas, Ileen Wardle and Loni Segosha.
