Freida Lyle

Freida Louise Lyle was born September 13, 1927 in Neosho, Missouri to W. A. Denny and Valerie Hardy Denny. Mom passed away Friday, February 21st, 2014 in Salt Lake City due to a stroke. She was 86 years old. Mom married Donald Mark Mueller in Missouri, they had 3 children. Later, she married George Eleom Lyle in Texas, had 6 children and divorced in 1975.
Mom spent much of her life in Texas where she raised her family, Seattle and Salt Lake City. She loved the mountains and gardening. Mom was headstrong and independent; insisting on living on her own until the end. Her two surviving daughters Joy and Nita shared duties caring for Freida for the last 14 years alongside her loving son-in-law, Maiko (Tui). She loved children, and was especially fond of her grandchildren; Maiko Jr. and Emily, who were always willing to help Grandma.
Survived by five of her nine children; Leslie Allen Mueller (Helen), George Randall Lyle, Joy Renee Lyle, Darrell Robert Lyle (Mary), Nita Raye Tuitupou (Maiko) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her children; Donald Gene Mueller, Gary Wayne Mueller, Debra Kay Stephens, and Kevin Russell Lyle.
