Freddie Hannert

July 6, 1965 — November 23, 2015

Our beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Freddie Lee Hannert Jr. passed away on November 23, 2015 from a tragic work related accident. Freddie was born on July 6, 1965 in Murray, Utah to Freddie Sr. and Tresha Hannert. He graduated from West Jordan High where he also lettered on the swim team. Freddie married after high school before leaving to serve in the Army National Guard, Special Forces unit. He gave life to three beautiful children: Amber, Nicholas, and Alexis. As life turned, they later divorced. Freddie married Erica Curran in 2002, and gained an additional son, Gage, whom he took right to his heart and considered his own. He and Erica soon added another son, Donivan to their family. Freddie worked for McGrath Rent Corp/Alder Tank Rental Division where he excelled at everything he put his mind to. Gaining much respect from his colleagues. Freddie could do anything! He was an excellent cook and had many, many hobbies. He always said “Yep, Jack of all trades, master of none”. Which to his family is not true. He mastered everything he did. Freddie was an avid outdoorsman. He’d rather be in the woods than anywhere else. And an all-around animal whisperer. He adored his furry baby Timber just like a child. Freddie was a very devoted, loving family man. Family meant everything to him! Literally his World! Freddie is survived by his wife Erica, his five children: Amber Naisbitt (Travis), Nicholas, Alexis, Gage, and Donivan, his parents Fred and Tresha Hannert, sisters Pamela Beck and Donna Walters, grandmother Betty Quinn, In-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his many friends, You know who you are. Freddie is preceded in death by grandparents Ferdinand and Ester Hannert, Grandfather Ray Quinn, Aunts Delana White and Pattie Quinn, and Uncle Rick Quinn.
