Frankie “Frank” Royce Price

Frankie “Frank” Royce Price, 65, went home to be with Jesus April 3rd, 2017 surrounded by his wife, daughters, and “J”. A viewing will be held at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary & Cemetery 3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights Utah 84121 on Friday April 7th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow Saturday, April 8th at 2:00 pm.
Frankie was born September 13th, 1951 in Eupora Mississippi to TB Price (Papa Joe) & Lottie Price (Momma Lottie). As a child, he was a very good, quiet, and smart young boy. Frank’s sister Martha decided he was her baby and took a large hand in raising him. Martha promised him the moon. Days prior to his passing Aunt Martha told him he could have his moon now.
Frank married Sandy on April 23rd, 1976. She has been the love of his life for over 40 years. Sandy took exceptional care of Frank. He was heard many times saying, “she is just an angel”. They had such a fun relationship and were caught teasing and giving each other a hard time on many occasions. They had two daughters and lived for their girls. Dad loved us with all he had and was proud of us without fail.
He will be remembered as a selfless man who loved all without judgement. He cherished his legacy (family) and would give you the shirt off his back not only if you needed it but wanted it.
Frank was proceeded in death by his parents Momma Lottie and Papa Joe, brother Keith, sisters Mavis and Claudette, niece Tai, and nephew Billy Jim. He is survived by his lovely wife Sandy, daughters Brandi (Jason) Walker and two grand dogs Sadie & Sophie, Lacey (Jared) Mietchen, grandsons Cayden, Trevan, Talen, and Corbin Mietchen, brother Johnny Price, sisters Martha (Billy) Griffin, Josie (Bo) McCaleb, and Etoy (Fred) Anderson. Along with many nephews & nieces he loved dearly.
Sandy and girls would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. James Pearl, Judy, and LDS ICU staff for the loving care.
