Frank D Masse’, age 70, went to be with is Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 1, 2024.
Frank went by many names over the years: Frank, son, brother, dad, daddy, Uncle Frank, and his least favorite Francis and Francini the human weenie. His love for his daughters, granddaughter, and stepchildren was the only thing that could surpass his love for his blue Kenworth, and we all knew when it was him coming down the road because that semi was lit up like a Christmas tree. When you think of the true meaning of a hippie, that was Frank. Between his love for old rock music and smoking pot, he would give almost anything to be riding his Harley on a hot summer day, and he wished he would have been available to finish putting his ‘57 Chevy Bel Air back together. In his younger years, he enjoyed taking his boat out on the lake, and one would usually find him at Rockport Reservoir. Frank knew everything and he wouldn’t hesitate to tell you how to do something and a better way to get it done, even if you were the professional. He also wouldn’t hesitate to share his hatred of cucumbers and pickles, though he said he was allergic, we are all pretty sure he only said that so he didn’t have to eat them. However maybe if we had dipped them in Mountain Dew he would have. Even though he was a sassy pants most of the time, the love he gave was true. He loved Jesus and served with the Knights of Columbus for many years.
Frank was the hero of three daughters and one granddaughter, Kristy Loader, Kimberly Loflin, Misty Masse’ and Kaizly Loflin. Later on he was blessed with three stepchildren, Brittany, Brandon, and Justin Jeffery.
When Frank drove off to the highway in the sky, he left behind his three brothers and two sisters, John Masse’, Michael Masse’, Robert Masse’ Jr, Samantha Manseau, and Barbara Masse’. Frank was welcomed into heaven by his father Robert Masse’, mother Catherene “Irene” Masse’, sisters Marcelle Jacobson and Patricia Sowers, nephew Danny Deuel and many other close family and friends.
Frank requested that there would be no big ordeal or service. If you would like to go and visit him, his remains will be located at the Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery in the Columbarium Niche 1 after May 16, 2024.
