Frank Joseph Illguth
1934-2020
Frank Joseph Illguth from Herriman, Utah passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 15, 2020 from natural causes. He was born May 6th 1934 in Kirkeness, Norway, son of Alf Eigil Illguth and Edla Satre Illguth. His family emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1947 and eventually settled in SLC, Utah where he met and married Ruth Clegg. Together they had three Children.
Frank was a master carpenter and electrician, and worked in Minnesota, Utah, Alaska, and Norway. He was also an inventor, which was his passion, and was awarded two U.S. patents.
Frank was always trying to get people to laugh. He was a man of many talents. Frank was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held several callings through out his life.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, brother, wife, and grandson. He
is survived by sister Evy (Don) Warmbier, son Steve (Jacque) Illguth, son Ken Illguth, Daughter Marie (John) Tedrow, eight grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Due to present circumstances there will be a graveside funeral held on Thursday the 22nd of October 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah. (Wearing a mask is requested but not required).
A Zoom Memorial will also be held on Sunday October 25th at 4:00 p.m. (MDT)
