Frank A Ammons

Frank Alexander Ammons was born April 26, 1936in Pueblo Co. to Elbert and Jenny Ammons. He passed away on November 25, 2018. He was the second of six children.
He married the love of his life Ramona Speelmon Ammons in 1976.
As a young man, Frank enjoyed racing cars with his brother. He did work as a carpenter, and later worked as a diesel mechanic at Kennecott Copper for 33 years. Not only did he work at the mine, but was an owner of a truck driving company.
Frank had six children from his first marriage, but when he met his loving wife Ramona, he gained another five. From this marriage came two more additions to the family. With their 13 children, they created a large family that came together as one. After 42 wonderful years of marriage, Frank has left a legacy of 79 grand, and great-grand-children.
Frank is survived by his wife, Ramona, and their children: Maurice (Antionette) Martin, Vikki (Brad) Hansen, Karry Ammons, Vicki Siegel, Wendy (Bob) Tripp, Brett Coffey Martin, Dodi Weese, Bart (Kathy) Coffey Martin, Lisa (Paul) Snyder, Sharry (Kevin) Johnson, Hank Ammons, Mandi Ammons, and Shandis Ammons.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters.
There will be a celebration of life that will be announced at a later date. Frank was cremated at his request, with a marker that will be placed in his honor at Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
